Have you ever known two individuals and when they got together you’re immediate thought was, “yep. that’s that!”? That’s these two!
I knew Tucker and Alana as young singles pursuing the Lord and their careers on their own. I wish I could take credit for orchestrating a blind date or whispering words of encouragement to them to date one another, but truthfully I was just a spectator of this love story, and I believe it was one of the best seats to have! As soon as I saw them together I remember telling my husband that anyone who ever wanted to date them just missed out. These two were officially off the market! A few months later at a friends wedding I asked Tucker what he was waiting on! Though I was mostly serious, I was joking a little as I know there’s always a perfect timing for these sort of things. After about a year of waiting for Tucker to pop the question, I finally heard the good news! He asked, and she said yes! I was so happy for both of them. I watched them grow in every way even more with one another, and I knew they would make the best life partner for each other!
Fast forward to a few weeks from their proposal, you can imagine how ecstatic I was when they asked me to be their wedding photographer! Not only were they a beautiful couple and knew their wedding day would be too, but this was a love story I fully believed in, and now in every way I was getting to come alongside them and help them celebrate! I was put in a position to gift them with the only piece of their special day that will last forever. It was truly an honor and a privilege and a day I’ll never forget!
So here’s a little flashback Friday post for you to peruse through. I hope you enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoyed capturing them!
xoxo
